When Mr. Emanuel arrived at Inner Voice, he was ready for change, and he was willing to do the work to make it happen.
During his time with us, he took important steps toward recovery, learned to set boundaries, built new routines, and found something else he deeply valued: community. He became someone who not only took pride in his own progress, but also looked out for those around him.
Now, Mr. Emanuel is preparing to move into a home of his own, and he’s excited about what comes next, including cooking his own meals (although he admits he’ll miss Chef Joel’s cooking!).
Looking back on his journey, Mr. Emanuel offered this advice to others working toward their own fresh start:
“Stay focused on the bigger picture. Be determined, don’t give up, and everything will work out.”
He plans to stay connected and return as a program alumnus; this time, ready to encourage others as they work toward their own next chapter.
Congratulations, Mr. Emanuel. We can’t wait to see what comes next for you.
