After more than three years of sleeping in parks and experiencing chronic homelessness, Mr. Riley was referred by Featherfist to Inner Voice’s SOS Triage program on July 9, 2026.

During his time at SOS Triage, Mr. Riley found more than a safe place to stay. He described a peaceful, supportive environment where he was well fed, connected with peers, and received help addressing health concerns. He also shared that the stability and support he experienced helped him reduce his alcohol and substance use as he worked toward his next chapter.

On September 23, Mr. Riley reached an important milestone: he left SOS Triage and moved into an apartment of his own.

For Mr. Riley, the moment is especially meaningful. He shared that he has never lived on his own before and is excited about the path ahead.

As he begins this new chapter, Mr. Riley expressed his gratitude and sent warm wishes to everyone who played a role in supporting him along the way.

After years without a place to call home, Mr. Riley now has a door and a future that are his own. We are here to support him as he continues this journey. Welcome Home Mr. Riley!
