People experiencing homelessness may need more time and space to recover before they can move to independent housing. Our transitional housing programs offer short and medium term housing and case management to prepare people for the long-term.

Robert Johnson House

The Robert Johnson House (RJH) provides emergency and transitional housing for single males, employing a harm reduction model supporting sobriety and recovery through onsite services, referrals to specialized supportive services agencies and mainstream government services. There are no restrictions on income, sobriety, or criminal backgrounds, except where prohibited by law. RJH is a 24-hour program of stabilization and assessment focused on rehousing persons as quickly as possible in appropriate, stable, permanent housing of their choice. RJH is committed to achieving/exceeding performance measures consistent with Plan 2.0 as defined in the Program Models Chart, IH section.

Pioneer House Transitional Housing Program

The Pioneer House Transitional Housing Program (PH) provides interim housing for single males, employing a harm reduction model supporting sobriety and recovery through onsite services, referrals to specialized supportive services agencies and mainstream government services.
